Ascend Medical Staffing, Lubbock, TX, United States
LOCUM- Ortho Trauma NP/PA
JOB DUTIES: Provider will be working 7am-7am. They will be working hospital and nights. 12-18 shifts per month needed, potential for full time. They will be on 24 call in the hospital (there is an onsite call room available for rest/sleep).
IMPORTANT Please note clinic may be added later but the provider will start off with hospital and nights to get acclimated first. Let candidates know there is a potential for them to be used in the clinic if they end up feeling comfortable.
If clinic is added it will look like this: Tues/Wed/Thurs they will round at 6 and then start clinic at 8am (usually they hold all consults until end of day except if it is an emergency they will leave to go to the hospital and come back to clinic).
Highly preferred that provider has ortho experience. We also will look for candidates with experience in the following but it is not required for consideration:
- Small suture procedures, splint fractures, history of reductions (hip, shoulder, knee, ankle).
