Details:Provide inpatient care in a practice that emphasizes clinical excellence. Opportunity to interact with attending neurosurgeons, residents and nurses in a supportive and caring environment. Our department is dedicated to clinical expertise, education, and research, in a cooperative and compassionate environment. We are part of a comprehensive Neuroscience Center, which includes Neurology, Neurocritical Care, Neurosurgery, Radiology, and Interventional Neuroradiology. Experience:Direct patient care in an inpatient setting NP/PA experience preferable Previous experience in Neurosurgery preferable Skills, Knowledge & Abilities:Strong verbal and written communication skills, including clinical documentation Ability to perform in a fast-pace clinical setting Ability to function clinically both as an autonomous provider and as a member of an interdisciplinary team Able to work with confidential information, clinical recordkeeping and use computer applications such as Epic and Microsoft Licensure, Certification, Registration:Current licensure as an advanced practice provider in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts Certification as a Nurse Practitioner; Acute Care Nurse Practitioner certification preferred. Certification as a Physician Assistant. Prescriptive authority for controlled substances in Massachusetts and DEA registration for controlled substances.
