Summary:
The Data Scientist is responsible for analyzing complex datasets to extract valuable insights and drive informed decision-making. Utilizing statistical techniques, machine learning algorithms, and programming skills, the Data Scientist will clean, organize, and interpret data. They will collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify business problems, develop data-driven solutions, and communicate findings effectively.
Essential Requirements: Must be able to obtain and maintain the required customer clearance for access to systems, facilities, equipment, and property. Proficiency with data mining, mathematics, and statistical analysis to execute analytical experiments and solve manufacturing problems. Knowledge of advanced statistical techniques and concepts (regression, properties of distributions, statistical tests, etc.) and experience with applications. Experience with Microsoft Azure cloud platform. Advanced experience in pattern recognition and predictive modeling. Relevant experience with Excel, PowerBI, PowerQuery, ML tools, and programming languages (e.g., Java/Python, SAS). Certification at the Information Assurance Technical (IAT) I level preferred (A+ CE, CCNA-Security, CND, Network+ CE, SSCP). Key Duties and Responsibilities:
Collect, categorize, and analyze data. Create, validate, test, and update algorithms and models. Use data visualization software to present findings. Make business recommendations to stakeholders based on data analysis. Coordinate with stakeholders to identify needs and develop solutions. Assess the effectiveness and accuracy of new data sources and data gathering techniques. Use predictive modeling to increase and optimize experiences and other business outcomes. Coordinate with different functional teams to implement models and monitor outcomes. Identify and integrate new datasets to enhance manufacturing outcomes. Education and Experience:
Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, Computer Science, Computer Programming, or related field from an accredited educational institution. Minimum of 4 years' relevant experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
