Summary of Work:

The Intermittent Mobile Health Unit Driver operates, maintain, and safely drive Community Health Programs mobile health units to outreach sites within a multi-county region, complying with federal, state, and local laws. Must have excellent customer service, organizational, written and verbal communication, and time management skills. Typing skills are required along with proficiency in Microsoft Office, Word, Excel, Outlook, and Teams. Must be able to interact professionally with staff, patients, and community partners.

* Review and plan routes in advance of Heritage Community Clinic community outreach health clinics. Operate mobile unit in a safe manner which complies with federal, state, and local laws. Ensure safety during events, including safe entry, parking, and exit of the mobile unit. Ensure completion of mobile health unit task checklist at all clinics and events. Communicate with appropriate clinical staff via e-mail to share information related to clinic schedules and travel. * Perform setup of Community Health Programs mobile health units at scheduled locations. This includes completion of the mobile health unit task checklist at all clinics and events (pre- and post-trip), setup of the truck, cleaning, emptying trash and biohazard waste, monitoring parking and storage environment of mobile health units. * Assist patients/visitors with safe entry and exit on the mobile unit. Assist with administrative support and operations of clinic as warranted, including but not limited to greeting and registering patients, filing, assisting patients with form completion, making copies, and other duties as assigned. * Maintain accurate written and electronic records of mobile health unit mileage and clinic locations, pre- and post-trip forms, daily vehicle usage log, AED safety log, fire extinguisher logs, and maintenance logs. Maintain all DOT and vehicle logs as required by law and all company documents. * Intermittently works as a team member of AHEC/CHP including attending staff meetings and other departmental projects or activities as warranted

Minimum Qualifications

* High school diploma or GED * Valid Ohio driver's license * CDL with minimum Class B Air Brake Certification * 3-5 years experience * Basic computer skills in order to be responsible for reading, completing forms, scheduling, and data reporting

Preferred Qualifications

Department HCOM - Community Health Programs Pay Rate

The target hiring range is $12.99/hour to $16.25/hour. The full pay range for Pay Grade 12 is $12.99/hour to $19.49/hour and the final offer will be commensurate with the candidate's education and experience in relation to the minimum qualifications for the position.
