Attends regularly scheduled interdisciplinary meetings of assigned primary patients. Understands and maintains the established standards procedures ,and policies of this Institution. Executes prescribed dialysis regimen for each individual patient. as assigned. Performs therapeutic measures, as delegated and prescribed by the physicians: has a thorough knowledge of medications and treatments being administered Maintains, prepares, & sanitize equipment necessary for the administration of' Hernodialysis. Accurately records observations, treatment, medication and other pertinent clinical information Evaluates the nursing care provided for patients: reviews and revises patient care plans. Documents long and short-term goals and discusses goals with the patient in collaboration and other disciplines. Keep Charge Nurse and Head Nurse informed of pertinent information continuously throughout tour of' duty. Maintains a safe and therapeutic environment for patients. Has an awareness of the safety hazards in the unit and take responsibility on the corrections, when possible, Reports and records incidents and accidents.
