Para Professional - Full-Time position - Monroe School inside Eastern Oregon Youth Correctional Faciltiy.
POSITION BEGINS: Starts Immediately
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
At least two years of related college education, an AA degree, or meet the Highly Qualified requirements by passing the Work Keys Exam. Maintain confidentiality of student records, meet scheduled deadlines, read/interpret/apply rules, regulations, policies and rapidly learn methods and materials used in a variety of ways. Maintains specialized and classroom equipment and student's files/records as pertain to special education files/records for the purpose of ensuring a safe and appropriate learning environment. Monitors individual students and classroom activities for providing a safe and positive learning environment. Performs recordkeeping and basic clerical functions, scheduling, copying, etc. for the purpose of supporting the teacher in maintaining student files and providing classroom materials. Prompt and regular attendance. OYA Training is required following hire. Willing to follow directives of Oregon Youth Authority.
