USC Department of Surgery is recruiting a Physician Assistant to provide clinical and research support in our busy Clinical Research Division. The Physician Assistant will perform diagnostic, therapeutic, preventive and health maintenance services under the direction and supervision of a licensed physician.

The Physician Assistant will also recruit and consent participants for clinical research studies, maintain research documentation and supervise student workers and volunteers. Experience in a clinical research setting is preferred.

The annual base salary range for this position is $142,417.93 - $150,000. When extending an offer of employment, the University of Southern California considers factors such as (but not limited to) the scope and responsibilities of the position, the candidate's work experience, education/training, key skills, internal peer equity, federal, state, and local laws, contractual stipulations, as well as external market and organization considerations.

Minimum Education: Bachelor's degree

Minimum Certifications: National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistant (NCCPA) issued Physician Assistance certification

Minimum Experience: 1 year

Addtional Experience Requirements Combined experience/education as substitute for minimum work experience

Minimum Skills: Current California license for Physician Assistant and National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistant (NCCPA). Directly related experience in field.

Preferred Education: Master's degree
