DataBricks, Seattle, WA
RDQ225R442At Databricks, we are passionate about enabling data teams to solve the world’s toughest problems — from making the next mode of transportation a reality to accelerating the development of medical breakthroughs. We do this by building and running the world’s best data and AI infrastructure platform so our customers can use deep data insights to improve their business. More about the team: Databricks is on a mission to democratize data and AI so everyone within an organization is empowered to make data-driven decisions or provide personalized experiences for end users. The Mosaic AI team delivers on this mission by building the tools, infrastructure, and platform to help data scientists and software developers build AI models and GenAI applications. For example, we build AI Gateway, a centralized service for governing and managing usage of GenAI models within an organization; we also build Model Training, a managed training stack for fine-tuning GenAI models on enterprise data to perform well on specific tasks at lower cost. At the heart of what we build is the belief that good AI comes from good data. With Databricks being a unified platform for data engineering, business intelligence, and AI, our team provides a unique opportunity to build tools and capabilities with a data-centric lens–for example, instead of building separate data monitoring and model monitoring tools, we can build a single tool that monitors both and provides users with a consistent experience. This makes the problems we are solving interesting and challenging in ways you can’t get anywhere else. And this is why building an awesome team rooted in truth seeking, first principles thinking, and customer obsession is so important to us.
