Senior PharmacistHiring Range $134,929.60 to $184,412.80Pay Range $134,929.60 to $209,164.80Summary of Job Responsibilities:The Southcentral Foundation (SCF) Senior Pharmacist is responsible for providing direct clinical patient care. This position role models and mentors Pharmacists in ambulatory pharmaceutical care activities that require application of clinical pharmacy principles. In addition to direct clinical care, the Senior Pharmacist is responsible for mentoring and coaching staff assigned to them on the Nuka System of Care.Qualifications:SCF programs are established to serve a primary population comprised of Alaska Native people who are affiliated with Cook Inlet Region, Inc. (CIRI) and Alaska Native and American Indian people within SCF’s geographical service area. Employees should have a thorough understanding of the cultures and the needs of this population. Such knowledge is critical to ensure the achievement of SCF’s vision of a Native Community that enjoys physical, mental, emotional and spiritual wellness, and mission of working together with the Native Community to achieve wellness through health and related services:Licensed in the State of Alaska as a Pharmacist.Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is required. ACLS, NRP, ATLS, ALSO and PALS as required for specialty and any certification relating to the scope of practice as required.Two (2) years of experience as a Pharmacist; OR demonstrated proficiency as a Pharmacist at SCFNative Preference: Under P.L. 93-638, as amended, the company pursues a policy of Native preference in hiring, contracting and training. SCF Human Resources must receive certification before applicants receive preference.Employee Health Requirements:Compliance with our Employee Health procedure is a condition of SCF employment.
