Software Guidance & Assistance, Inc., (SGA), is searching for a JDE Business Analyst for a consulting assignment with one of our premier clients in Dodge Center MN OR Greenville WI. *Relocations are welcome! 3 days on site required

JDE (JD Edwards) Business Analyst with a focus on manufacturing is responsible for leveraging JD Edwards EnterpriseOne (JDE) ERP software to enhance and streamline manufacturing processes. Responsible for technical and business skills, along with in-depth knowledge of JDE modules related to manufacturing, like shop floor control, product data management, inventory management, and order management.

Key Responsibilities: Requirement Gathering and Analysis

:

Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business needs and translate them into system requirements. Document, analyze, and refine business processes to align with best practices and improve efficiency.

System Configuration and Customization

:

Configure JDE modules related to manufacturing (e.g., Product Data Management, Manufacturing Accounting, Shop Floor Control). Work closely with developers to design, test, and implement customizations or enhancements.

Process Improvement

:

Identify areas of improvement in manufacturing workflows and provide solutions within JDE. Work on continuous improvement projects to optimize production processes, inventory management, and supply chain efficiency.

Support and Training

:

Provide end-user training on JDE modules and ensure they understand system functionality and best practices. Offer support and troubleshooting for issues related to JDE manufacturing modules.

Data Analysis and Reporting

:

Develop and maintain reports to track production, inventory, and financial metrics. Use data analysis to identify trends, optimize production schedules, and improve supply chain efficiency.

Required Skills and Knowledge:

JDE Manufacturing Modules

:

Strong knowledge of JDE EnterpriseOne Manufacturing modules (Product Data Management, Shop Floor Control, Manufacturing Accounting, etc.).

Manufacturing Knowledge

:

Understanding of manufacturing processes, including production planning, inventory control, quality assurance, and supply chain management.

Technical Skills

:

Familiarity with SQL for data extraction, reporting, and analysis. bility to work with JDE's data structure and potentially integrate with other systems. Knowledge of relevant scripting or programming skills (JDE-specific tools or third-party integrations) is a plus.

Problem Solving and Analytical Thinking

:

bility to analyze and solve complex business problems related to manufacturing processes.

Communication and Collaboration

:

Strong interpersonal skills to work with stakeholders across departments, including production, inventory, finance, and IT. Capable of translating technical concepts to non-technical users effectively.

Typical Qualifications:

Education

: Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Business, Manufacturing Engineering, or related field. Experience
