Key Responsibilities:

Continuous Situational Awareness of Cyber Threats: Collaborate with other cyber defense teams to maintain continuous situational awareness of current and emerging cyber threats

Data Analysis: Analyze data to identify and prioritize vulnerabilities and weaknesses in our systems and networks

Key Performance Indicators: Provided detailed remediation and mitigation plans, track via Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)

Researching Threat Actors: Conduct research on threat actors, malware, exploit methods, and vulnerabilities to stay up-to-date on current cyber threats.

Cyber Threat Reports: Develop and maintain cyber threat reports and presentations for both technical and non-technical audiences

Input on Process, Procedures, and Solutions: Provide input on the implementation of processes, procedures, and technological solutions to mature our operational program and team cadence

Responding to Inquiries: Respond to internal team and stakeholder inquiries on vulnerabilities and related topics

Collaborate to Address Cyber Gaps: Collaborate with peers to identify and address cyber gaps and develop solutions to address cyber needs

Proactive Data Gathering: Conduct proactive data gathering to better understand the political, economic, and behavioral aspects of threats, cyber activities, and threat actors

Data Enrichment, Curation, Automation, and Dissemination: Assist with threat data enrichment, curation, automation, and dissemination within a threat intelligence platform

Work Environment:

Location: On-site

Travel Requirements: Minimal 20%

Qualifications:

Required:

Security Clearance: Active TS/SCI with a Polygraph

Education: Bachelor's degree or six additional years of relevant experience

Experience: Minimum 10 years of experience in cybersecurity, vulnerability management, or a related field

Problem-Solving: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

Communication: Excellent communication and collaboration abilities

Industry Threats: Strong understanding of types of vulnerabilities, network attacks, and current industry threats

Data Analysis: Experience with data analysis and data-driven decision making

Threat Intelligence Tools: Familiarity with threat intelligence platforms and tools

Desired:

STEM Degree: Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, Cybersecurity, or related field

Cybersecurity Certifications: Certifications in cybersecurity or related field (e.g. CISSP, CEH)

Vulnerability Management: Experience with vulnerability management tools and platforms

Risk Management Principles: Strong understanding or risk management principles and practices

Process Improvement: Experience with process improvement and implementation

Tools: Experience with tools including: Confluence, ServiceNow, JIRA, Tableau, PowerBI, Excel
