Description

The External Communications Manager (Finance Practice Groups) will have demonstrable skills:

• Develop and execute engaging external communication strategies.
• Manage the company's media relations, media contacts and maximize media opportunities.
• Collaborate with the marketing and wider communications team to develop promotional materials and programs including working on pitches, RFP's and RFI's.
• Plan and manage the company's presence at industry events and conferences, press releases, media enquiries, preparing for media questions.
• Monitor, analyze and communicate PR results regularly.
• Cultivate relationships with key stakeholders in the industry.
• Coordinate with international teams to ensure consistent messaging and branding.

Profile

The successful External Communications Manager will have:

• A degree in Communications, Public Relations, Marketing, or a related field.
• Proven experience in managing and executing effective external communication strategies preferably within big-law, working with finance practice groups.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work well under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
• Proficiency in public speaking and presentation - maintaining media contacts and maximizing media exposure.
• Strong networking skills with the ability to engage with various stakeholders.
