Job Summary and Qualifications
The Nuclear Medicine Technologist, demonstrates knowledge and skills necessary to provide care appropriate to the patients served in the department. If that is you, come be a part of what makes us great and apply today!
- Demonstrates knowledge of the principles of growth and development over the life span, possesses the ability to assess data reflective of the patients requirements relative to his/her age-specific needs, and provides care needed as described in the departmental policies and procedures
- Provides appropriate health care services to neonatal, pediatric, adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients
- Uses radio nuclides and Nuclear Medicine techniques & procedures to assist in patient diagnosis and treatment, and to produce images requested by, and for the interpretation of, licensed medical practitioners
- Exercises professional judgment in performance of services and maintains a demeanor that reflects a high standard of medical ethics
- Recognizes conditions essential for the successful completion of procedures
What qualifications you will need:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Bachelor of Science degree preferred
- Registered or registry eligible for no more than twelve months in one of the following: A.R.R.T.(N), N.M.T.C.B., or A.S.C.P
- Current CPR (BLS)
- One-year experience preferred
