Innova Solutions has a client that is immediately hiring for a Utility Project Manager

Position type: Full-time, Contract
Duration: 12 Months
Location: Oakbrook Terrace, IL

As a Utility Project Manager, you will:  
A Project Manager Mid is responsible for leading and managing projects from initiation to completion. They oversee all aspects of a project, including planning, execution, monitoring, and closing.

Responsibilities may include:

• Developing project plans, including scope, timelines, milestones, and resource allocation.
• Leading project teams and coordinating activities to ensure that project goals are met.
• Monitoring project progress and identifying and addressing issues or risks.
• Communicating with stakeholders and senior management to provide updates on project status.
• Managing project budgets and ensuring that projects are delivered within budget.
• Ensuring that projects are delivered on time and meet quality standards.
• Developing and maintaining relationships with project stakeholders and external partners.
• Leading project meetings and facilitating discussions to drive project progress.
• Managing project documentation, including project plans, schedules, and reports.
• Supporting the development and implementation of project management best practices and processes.
• Project Managers Mid should have strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills. They should also be proficient in project management software and tools. PMP Required for all Project Management roles

Position Requirements:         

• Experience with managing projects in the Utility field. Looking for electrical only, distribution or transmission relocation projects. Also, only accepting local to Chicagoland area.

Must Haves

Education

• Bachelor Minimum (Engineering/Construction Management/ Project Management)
• PMP

Specific experience (technical/software)

• Microsoft programs
• CAD
• Power BI
• Smartsheet
• Primavera (preferred)

The ideal candidate will have: Bachelor's, Project management/PMP; Electrical Distribution; CAD; PowerBI and Engineering Background

PAY RANGE AND BENEFITS:
Pay Range*: $60 – 68 per hour
*Pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors, including the candidate's education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc.
