THE ROLE

Aquarian Holdings is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Transformation Lead to join its Operations Team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing a portfolio of strategic initiatives according to deadlines and within budget under the supervision of the Senior Vice President, Transformation. This includes facilitating strategic alignment among cross-functional teams and executives, managing project scope, and ensuring stakeholder satisfaction. This position is five days a week in-office, located in New York City.

Responsibilities:

Identify, scope, and prioritize strategic initiatives in service of growing the scale and capabilities of the Aquarian Platform's operational infrastructure

Drive programmatic goals, scope, cross-functional design, responsibilities, timelines, and actualization of strategic initiatives

Develop detailed plans, including timelines, resource allocation, and budget management

Facilitate strategy development and decision-making with project and executive teams

Ensure all deliverables meet quality standards and project specifications

Identify and implement opportunities for process and technical improvements Develop analytical models and insights to support strategy development

Identify potential program risks and develop mitigation strategies to minimize impact

Help to build transformational program management capabilities at Aquarian

Establish and manage vendor relationships and deliverables for a given project

Interface with Aquarian counterparts and subsidiaries, communicating effectively with stakeholders to gather requirements, provide updates, and manage expectations

Ideal profile and characteristics:

Expertise in managing 6-18 month strategic initiatives and/or operational strategy, including facilitating goal-setting and decision-making with senior team members at a major bank/asset manager or technology company

Experience in evaluating, selecting, and implementing new technologies to support operational scale

Ideally has experience in building and evolving financial models and/or analyses of large datasets

Ideally proficient in project management software (e.g., MS Project, Trello, Asana) and/or has some knowledge of project management methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall)

Required experience & skills:
  • 6-8 years of experience in an operational role or as a consultant at a top-tier firm
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Management, or a related field
  • Proven track record of successfully owning and managing initiatives from beginning to actualization as a member of an operations or related team


Salary Range: $175-$200
