SUMMARY The Senior Manager, Consumer Marketing will be responsible for guiding marketing strategy and tactics that achieve objectives including fueling brand awareness, audience growth, acquisition, conversion, retention and loyalty for the Brooklyn Nets, Barclays Center and additional BSE Global properties. The role will serve as a thought partner, both within Marketing and across the organization. As Senior Manager, will closely collaborate with leadership across Ticketing, Consumer Technology, Data, Analytics & Insights and Partnerships to develop and implement omni-channel campaigns that leverage paid advertising channels (digital and traditional), email and institutional/owned assets. This individual will continuously strive to better understand consumer behavior in the pursuit of growing our businesses, effectively launching new products and properties, and building & nurturing our fanbase for existing properties. WHAT YOU WILL DO:
  • Operate as a digital media strategy and conversion-driving subject matter expert for BSE Global brands, and act as a project lead on select projects
  • Develop, lead and implement consumer marketing plans through scalable, innovative strategies that engage new and existing consumers
  • Acquire extensive knowledge of our Ticketing products, establish campaign objectives, identify target audience segments, perform benchmarking, and track key performance metrics
  • Leverage consumer data to cultivate actionable insights and craft audience segmentation strategy that guides targeting tactics across digital channels
  • Collaborate with all marketing functions (Marketing Management, Brand Strategy, Creative, Content, Merchandise, Marketing Operations, etc.) in the conception, development and execution of creative and content for consumer plans
  • Steward strategies to accelerate customer acquisition and expand our database across industries and audiences, setting goals, tactics and benchmarks for BSE properties
  • Improve the potential of our Customer Data Platform, optimize CRM tools to drive consumer insights, and craft sophisticated audience targeting, email campaigns, and lifecycle marketing tactics
  • Lead all aspects of our paid media campaigns and budgets in partnership with an external media agency, while guiding a comprehensive measurement, optimization and reporting approach
  • Supercharge a multi-channel, multi-touch lead acquisition, nurturing, retention and loyalty strategy, and champion our consumer journey roadmap
  • Support Partnerships team on implementing paid media programs for sponsors
  • Monitor industry trends/best practices and stay informed on the competitive landscape
WHAT YOU WILL BRING:
  • 7+ years of agency, live event, paid media, digital marketing and/or consumer marketing experience
  • Foundational knowledge of media planning, performance marketing, paid social, SEM, SEO, programmatic display, email, CRM, and/or targeting tactics
  • Experience working with Sales and revenue generating departments
  • Live event marketing and/or sports and entertainment industry experience a major plus
  • Strong written and verbal communication, interpersonal and presentation skills
  • Track record of partnering cross-departmentally to develop 360-degree marketing plans and ensure integration and alignment among team members
  • Ability to manage projects with effective time management, attention to detail, on timeline and against goals/critical metrics set in the brief

TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS: May be required to travel on rare occasions (< 5% travel); trips may require air travel and/or overnight stay for one or more nights. SALARY RANGE: $90,000 - $120,000 WORK ENVIRONMENT: Works primarily in an office environment but is encouraged to attend games and other events on evenings, weekends and holidays.
