Salary Range

From $18.06 to $22.48 per hour

This will be a shared position between Lewis and Clark Elementary and the Explorer Academy.

All building principals have access to this job posting and will call selected candidates for interviews. Additional education and/or experience may be required for specific aide positions. Some positions are supported by Title I funds and require additional levels of education or certification. If hired for a Title I position, Title I Paraprofessional Certification will be required prior to hire or work with students.

What You Do:

A Title Para provides academic or behavioral interventions to support and deliver direct services to students under the direction of a certified teacher or other licensed employee. This classification is generally assigned to work with individuals or small groups of students needing tier II or III interventions. What You Need High School Diploma or GED Ability to communicate with students, colleagues, and parents/guardians orally and in writing Basic academic and computer skills

Preferred Qualifications Experience working or volunteering in a school setting Experience working with individualized education plans (IEPs) Associates degree in Education, Child Development, Psychology, or a similar field Experience working as direct support professional, personal care aid, CNA, or similar position
