Job Responsibilities:
Conduct thorough physical examinations.
Take detailed patient medical histories.
Perform diagnostic tests and interpret results.
Formulate differential diagnoses based on assessment findings.
Develop and implement patient care plans.
Prescribe medications and treatments.
Provide counseling and education to patients on health issues and preventive care.
Monitor and adjust treatment
plans
as necessary.
Maintain
accurate
and detailed patient records.
Document patient progress, treatments, and outcomes.
Ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements.
Educate patients and families on disease management, medication adherence, and self-care.
Provide counseling on mental health issues, lifestyle modifications, and health promotion.
07:00 am to 5:00 pm Eastern Standard Time, Monday through Friday. Daily performance will consist of an 8-hr shift between these hours/not to exceed 40 hours per week.

Qualifications:
• Degree/Education: Master's degree in Family Health/Primary Care Nursing. Graduate from an academic program, within the nursing specialty field of study that is accredited by a regional or national nursing accrediting agency recognized by the Accreditation Commission for Education in Nursing (ACEN) or the Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education (CCNE).
• Certifications in addition to Basic Life Support: Certified in the specialty required by the TO as a Nurse Practitioner by the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC), American Academy of Nurse Practitioners (AANP) or the recognized national nursing certification organization for the specialty area of practice as appropriate (for example, National Certification Board of Pediatric Nurse Practitioners and Nurses, American Nurses Association, and BLS. ACLS and PALS desired, but not required.
Experience:
2 years of full-time experience as a Family Health Nurse Practitioner, including recent experience (within the last 6 months) working with pediatric patients, 0-17 years of age.
Licensure/Registration :
Current, full, active, and unrestricted license as a Family Health NP.
