Litigation Associate in Lansing

I am working with a law firm that is seeking a well-qualified applicant for a Litigation Associate. The candidate should have between 3-5 years of experience in a small to mid-size firm with most of that time spent assisting litigation matters. We want the applicant to have a desire to join a respected law firm that encourages professional independence. Compensation will be commensurate with experience and qualifications.

Skills, Experience and Education:

• 3-5 years of experience in law with a strong acumen in litigation
• Strong and demonstrated ability in oral and written argument
• High performing individual with strong integrity and a high degree of professionalism
• The following specific practice areas are a plus: insurance defense, commercial litigation, and real estate litigation

 Day in the Life of an Associate

• Research on several different insurance defense cases
• Regular opportunities for independent client growth development
• Actively assisting a lead attorney in a commercial litigation matter
• Frequent networking opportunities such as golf outings, award dinners, and group lunches
