Position Overview
We are looking for a highly skilled Senior Data Scientist to join our Data team and help us leverage data to improve our decision-making and business operations. The Data team supports all business functions across On Location, which specializes in creating premium experiential offerings to major events such as the Olympics, FIFA World Cup, Super Bowl, NCAA Final Four, among others. This role will involve the full data science lifecycle, including data cleaning, analysis, reporting, and machine learning model development. You'll work cross-functionally with teams across the company to understand business challenges, design data-driven solutions, and deliver actionable insights that drive growth and efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
Advanced Analytics and Reporting
Lead the design, development, and implementation of data analytics projects to solve complex business problems Utilize statistical and machine learning techniques to analyze large datasets and extract actionable insights Guide and build reports in service for business functions Data Exploration and Preprocessing
Conduct exploratory data analysis to understand the characteristics of datasets Develop and implement data preprocessing pipelines to ensure the quality and reliability of data for analysis Build dimensional and fact tables for use in analytics, reporting, and predictive ML solutions Machine Learning
Lead the end-to-end process of developing, training, and deploying machine learning models (classification, regression, segmentation) for use cases such as customer segmentation, conversion propensity, churn, recommendations, and dynamic pricing Monitor model performance and refine models post deployment
Thought Leadership and Communication
Solution and scope the efforts and resources needed to execute data science solutions Identify opportunities to create business value through data science projects Communicate findings and insights to both technical and non-technical audiences Teamwork and Cross-Functional Partnership
Collaborate with cross-functional team members, including data engineers, product managers, and business stakeholders, to successfully implement data solutions Work closely with other data scientists to align methodologies, review code, share best practices, and promote a cohesive approach to data science within the organization
Qualifications
Master's or Ph.D. degree in a quantitative field, such as Statistics, Mathematics, Economics, Data Science, Engineering, etc. 5+ years of experience in a data science role (3+ years with a Ph.D.) 2+ years of experience where you served as the data science or analytics lead on cross-functional projects Strong proficiency in SQL, Python, and relevant data science packages (e.g., Pandas, Scikit-learn) In-depth knowledge of machine learning algorithms, statistical modeling, and data visualization techniques Experience with big data technologies and tools (e.g., AWS, Snowflake, DBT, GCP, Spark, Hadoop) Experience communicating and presenting technical insights to leadership and non-technical audiences Excellent problem-solving skills, critical thinking, and attention to detail

Hiring pay rates are based on a number of factors, including location and may vary depending on job-related qualifications, knowledge, skills and experience. Endeavor strives to provide locally competitive rewards packages, which include base rate along with, as applicable, short- and long-term incentives, growth and developmental opportunities, and robust benefits, such as health care, retirement, vacation and other paid time off, and additional offerings.
Hiring Range Minimum: $142,526 annually
Hiring Range Maximum: $190,035 annually
