Job Overview We seek a highly skilled PLC Programmer with Studio 5000 and FactoryTalk expertise to join a dynamic team in San Jose, CA. This role involves designing, programming, and troubleshooting advanced automation systems, including PLC and SCADA technologies, and driving projects from concept to successful completion. This position offers a hands-on opportunity to work with cutting-edge automation technologies in a fast-paced industrial environment.
Key Responsibilities Develop, test, and troubleshoot PLC and SCADA systems, ensuring high-performance automation solutions. Implement and commission control systems, collaborating with teams to ensure seamless integration and functionality. Lead automation projects, managing requirements, timelines, and deliverables while coordinating with cross-functional teams. Create and debug HMI applications, leveraging FactoryTalk software to deliver intuitive user interfaces. Maintain detailed project documentation, including wiring diagrams, system architecture, and programming specifications. Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Computer Science, related field, or equivalent technical experience. Proven experience in PLC programming and working with SCADA systems. Expertise in Rockwell Automation systems, including ControlLogix, CompactLogix, and MicroLogix PLCs, and tools such as Studio 5000 and FactoryTalk. Familiarity with industrial equipment, system networking, and control system troubleshooting. Proven ability to thrive in a fast-paced, hands-on technical environment. A local and stable work history is essential. Preferred Expertise
Schneider Electric Systems: Hands-on experience with Modicon PLCs, EcoStruxure Control Expert, and EcoStruxure Power SCADA Operation. Additional SCADA Systems: Knowledge of AVEVA OMI, Application Server, and other SCADA platforms. Mechanical Aptitude: Practical experience in industrial and packaging machinery environments.
