Job Type Full-timeDescriptionProdigy is seeking a motivated and team-oriented Business Development Representative (BDR) to expand our outreach efforts, drive lead generation, and schedule qualified meetings for the sales team. As we continue to grow, this role is crucial for identifying and nurturing early-stage opportunities, ensuring we connect with potential clients who can benefit from Prodigy's product development expertise. The BDR will play a foundational role in creating meaningful connections, accelerating our ability to deliver innovative solutions to clients and will be the front line of our sales process.Key Responsibilities Lead Generation & Research: Identify prospective leads using research tools and the CRM platformCRM Management: Accurately document all lead generation and outreach activities in the CRM systemPerformance Tracking: Achieve or exceed monthly and quarterly targets for outbound calling and other sales metricsResponsible for scheduling Qualified Meetings Held (QMH) for the sales team each month from our ICPCollaboration: Partner with sales and marketing teams to follow up on leads generated by marketing initiatives Travel to and support trade conferences as needed to seek ICP leads and build new opportunities RequirementsEducation: Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, Engineering or a related fieldExperience: 1-3 years in business development, sales or other customer facing role, ideally in B2B or industries related to Prodigy's focus areas (e.g. product development, engineering, manufacturing.) Proven experience with cold calling as a primary outreach method, with a track record of successfully engaging prospects over the phoneCRM and Sales Tools Proficiency: Familiarity with CRM platforms (i.e. Salesforce and HubSpot), outreach tools and B2B data tools (i.e. ZoomInfo) to ensure efficient tracking and follow up Prospecting Skills: Clear and engaging verbal and written communication skills. Ability to research potential clients, qualify prospects and understand our ICP Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, collaborative environment. High attention to detail and ability to manage multiple leads, staying organized and responsive under a dynamic workload Proficiency in Microsoft OfficeWin as a team attitude This role requires sitting for long periods of timeU.S. travel as needed to support trade conferencesPreferred Qualifications Industry Knowledge: Previous exposure to technology or product development industries is a plus, as it enables quicker alignment with Prodigy's offerings and target marketsFamiliarity with sales methodologies such as Challenger Sale, Sandler, MEEDIC, or others is a plus Benefits and CompensationCompetitive salary and performance-based bonuses.
