To keep up with rapidly changing customer and business demands, CO+I is looking for an experienced Sr. Business Program Manager who can lead complex engagements across key datacenter suppliers, collaborating across business and engineering stakeholders to drive strategic partnership development.The successful candidate will be able to work independently, with little or no supervision, who thrives in ambiguity, with attention to detail, has an ability to work in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment to drive 360-partnership engagements. You will lead multiple large-scale engagements to improve mutual partnerships with suppliers, balancing technical leadership and business judgement. In this role, you’ll apply an analytical mindset and take a key role in driving strategies and workstreams to deliver stronger outcomes for both Microsoft, our suppliers, and customers. You’ll balance multiple internal and external stakeholders, driving your vision into holistic plans and execution across teams. This role requires a keen sense for stakeholder management, strategic thinking, detailed project management and business acumen.This role is based in the Seattle / Redmond area. Required/Minimum Qualifications:Bachelor's Degree in Business, Operations, Finance or related field AND 6+ years work experience in program management, process management, process improvementOR equivalent experience.Other Requirements:The ability to meet Microsoft, customer and/or government security screening requirements are required for this role. These requirements include, but are not limited to, the following specialized security screenings:Microsoft Cloud Background Check: This position will be required to pass the Microsoft Cloud background check upon hire/transfer and every two years thereafter.Additional or Preferred Qualifications:6+ years experience in technical program management. 6+ years experience managing cross-functional and/or cross-team projects.6 years of supplier or customer-facing experience. Experience working within a business development organization is a plus.Proficiency in use of process improvement methodology (ex. Lean, Six Sigma, and DMAIC-Define, Measure, Analyze, Improve, and Control).Experience in successfully working with both technical and business subject matter experts across multiple organizational levels.Proven ability to define customer-focused scenarios, author business cases and track value realization, and drive keen insights and identify opportunities to develop solutions.Previous experience in data analytics/modeling and datacenter infrastructure management.High proficiency in verbal and written communication, ability to interact with diverse groups across multiple organizational levelsCreative problem-solving & analytical skills to drive keen insights and understand root causes combined with a “sense of urgency” to develop solutions experience in delivering strategy and transformational programs.Demonstrated ability to lead and influence senior level cross functional teamsBusiness Program Management IC5 - The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $115,000 - $200,300 per year. There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $146,200 - $219,200 per year.Certain roles may be eligible for benefits and other compensation.
