Job Description

Our research analysts offer in-depth and differentiated research coverage of high information flow sectors across a wide-array of industries.

We are seeking an Equity Research Associate to support our Senior Analyst in the TMT sector.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
  • Provide fundamental analysis of companies in the It Services and FinTech sectors
  • Build and maintain detailed company financial models, collect and analyze industry data and develop sector databases
  • Assist with the timely publication of research notes and reports
  • Assist with existing coverage and contribute to new company initiations
  • Assist with special ad-hoc projects, presentations and reports as assigned
  • Keep abreast of market, company and industry news
  • Communicate with internal sales force, institutional clients and company management teams
  • Perform other tasks and duties as assigned
Experience and Skills
  • Bachelors degree from accredited university, preferably in Business, Economics, Finance, or other quantitative focus
  • 1-2 years Equity Research experience preferred
  • MBA or CFA preferred but not required
  • Will require obtaining FINRA 87, 86 and Securities Industry Essentials (when SIE is required) licenses
  • Experience in the TMT sector helpful
  • Excellent accounting, financial, and financial statement analysis skills
  • Critical thinking and strong analytical ability
  • Excellent writing and communication skills with strong attention to detail
  • Ability to perform under pressure, meet time sensitive deadlines, prioritize and multi-task
  • Self-starter with ability to work independently
  • Ideal candidate will have a passion for the market

The reasonable estimate of the compensation range for this role has not been adjusted for the applicable geographic location. A reasonable estimate of the current range is $80,000. Colleagues may be eligible for additional, discretionary incentive compensation based on the colleague's and the firm's performance.
