Recently acquired by a national construction management firm, they are looking to grow their team by bringing on an experienced Senior Estimator Description The Senior Estimator - Hospitality Construction - ESOP Company will be responsible for: preparing detailed cost estimates for hospitality construction projects, considering various factors such as materials, labor, equipment, permits, subcontractor bids, and overhead costs performing quantity takeoffs from architectural and engineering plans to determine the amount of materials and labor required for each phase of the construction project. soliciting bids from subcontractors and suppliers and evaluating them to ensure the most competitive and cost-effective options are selected collaborating with project managers and stakeholders to establish project budgets and monitoring expenses throughout the construction process to ensure adherence to the budget identifying potential cost-saving opportunities through value engineering and providing alternative solutions without compromising the quality of the project maintaining accurate and detailed records of cost estimates, budgets, change orders, and other relevant project documentation. building and maintaining relationships with subcontractors, suppliers, and vendors to ensure a reliable network of resources for future projects staying updated on industry trends, labor costs, material prices, and other factors that may impact project costs to provide the most accurate estimates collaborating closely with the project team, including architects, engineers, construction managers, and other stakeholders, to coordinate and integrate estimating efforts identifying potential risks and uncertainties related to project cost estimates and proposing appropriate mitigation strategies continuously reviewing and improving estimating processes and techniques to enhance accuracy and efficiency
