Description Reporting into the Vice President of Operations, the Electrical Field Engineer - Industrial Construction will be responsible for the following: The Field Engineer will oversee and execute the project controls and management of a multiple disciplines The main functions of the Field Engineer will include (but not limited to) responsibility for a specific area of the project such as direct support to a Craft Superintendent, quantity collection, scheduling, contract administration, project planning and scheduling, procurement, and project reporting Location & Travel Details: This is a traveling position, up to 75% of the time Represent in a professional manner in all client interaction activities Provide the client with contract required reports (weekly, monthly, schedule.) Understand and follow Corporate Safety Plan and site-specific safety plan Perform quantity calculations by taking measurements and determining percentage of completed/installed materials and work Develop a process for the creation and review of work plans and work packages Provide support to ensure the site quality plan is communicated and all inspections and quality documentation is being completed on time and assembled for final turn over Manage the compilation, processing, and customer approval of daily labor timesheets Compile and distribute weekly the Average Labor Rate to the front-line supervision Train craft and staff employees how to complete Job Safety Analysis (JSA's) Participate in or lead jobsite safety reviews, toolbox meetings, mass safety meetings, and safety training Order, schedule material deliveries and develop procurement status report Plan, schedule, and coordinate work groups on the jobsite Perform material takeoffs from drawings, specifications, and other contract documents Perform basic engineering calculations and technical drafting to support field operations Assist Engineers to gather and prepare data for submittal or transmittal to the customer, vendors, subcontractors, governmental agencies, and internal use Profile The successful Electrical Field Engineer - Industrial Construction will have the following attributes: 2+ years as a Field Engineer or Project Engineer for an electrical contractor or in an Electrical/MEP role with an Industrial General Contractor Proven project experience in the industrial or commercial markets of $20M+ Comfortable leading projects and managing a large project team including other Superintendents, interfacing with owners as needed Bachelors Degree preferred but not required Strong oral communication and written skills Proficiency in software Viewpoint, BIM, Prolog, etc. is a plus OSHA 30 Hr Certification required local to Phoenix, although candidates who are relocating will be considered Job Offer The successful Electrical Field Engineer - Industrial Construction will receive: Base salary depending on experience, $90,000-$110,000 Full benefits package complete with Health, Vision, Dental insurance, 401k match Company vehicle and gas card, top of the market per diem when traveling Yearly bonus based on individual and project team performance Opportunity to join a rapidly growing business and market leader!
