A machining manufacturer based in the southern suburbs of Chicago is looking for a Quality Engineer to join their team. Key responsibilities for this role include managing customer communications, conducting root cause analyses and corrective actions, submitting PPAPs, and supporting ISO internal audits. Description The Quality Assurance Engineer will be responsible for: Overseeing the entire PPAP process Preparing and conducting internal ISO 9001 audits Working directly with customers to discuss reports and non-conformances Lead corrective actions through Root Cause Analysis methods Reading and interpreting blueprints PFMEAs Please apply below, if you're resume looks to fit in with the criteria. Profile A successful quality assurance engineer will look like: 5+ years of experience in a quality manufacturing setting Background with automotive manufacturing and the standards associated Knowledge of ISO 9001 Experience with leading or assisting with internal audits Strong experience with PPAPs Strong Root Cause and Corrective Action experience.
