Overview
Responsible for installing, maintaining, troubleshooting, and repair of production and facility programmable equipment according to safety, predictive and productive maintenance systems and processes to support the achievement of the site’s business goals and objectives. This job will be specialized in electrical/controls and programing related work.

Responsibilities
Create PLC programs for production machines and facility equipment Perform maintenance skills including, but not limited to, PLC program troubleshooting and repair of production machines or Facilities equipment. Read and interpret equipment manuals and work orders to perform required maintenance and service. Diagnose problems, replace or repair parts, test and adjust. Use a variety of hand and power tools, electric meters and material handling equipment in performing duties. Detect faulty operations, defective material and report those and any unusual situations to proper supervision. Aid in and design of equipment related to electrical/controls and programming – implement said system improvements. Comply with safety regulations and maintain clean and orderly work areas. Participate in training and development programs including all areas of environmental, health and safety issues, especially those dealing with proper handling of hazardous materials and hazardous waste. Performs other responsibilities and duties assigned by supervisor
Qualifications
Educations, Experience, Certifications: An AA degree in electrical, mechanical, or industrial maintenance a plus with 4+ years of manufacturing experience PLC programming experience required Competencies, Skills, Knowledge: Preferred to have strong hydraulic, pneumatic, mechanical and industrial skills. Knowledge of Computer Aided Design programs Ability to Create, Draw and Read Machine related drawings with emphasis towards electric controls Must be highly motivated and able to work independently Physical Demands: The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions. Able to see, hear and speak; able to sit, stand, bend, craw, squat, kneel and climb; able to use both arms and hands to use a computer and peripherals and lift 40 pounds from floor level to overhead, able to work below ground level in confined spaces and on stationary or mobile elevated platforms, able to wear respirator and other PPE as required, able to climb stairs. Able to work extended shifts and weekends as needed.
Environment: Able to work inside or outside the plant environment and in all climate conditions. Exposed to lead, fumes, chemicals, operating equipment, and vehicles.
Travel: Travel as required for training, meeting with regulatory agencies, and to other company sanctioned events.
