Are you passionate about bridging the gap between business needs and technology solutions? As a

Business Systems Analyst , you will play a crucial role in defining systems scope and objectives through facilitation, thorough research, and fact-finding. You will be responsible for understanding the structure, policies, and operations of the enterprise while recommending business and/or technology-focused solutions to improve general business processes and planning. You will collaborate with business units to understand their strategies, business process flows, and opportunities to develop technical solutions, diagrams, and roadmaps that align with business and technical goals. Your role will involve analyzing business and user needs, documenting requirements, data analysis, and addressing system logic challenges as necessary. In doing so, you will elicit, translate, and simplify user requirements. Acting as a liaison between the technology development team, vendors, and business units, you will facilitate the development and implementation of new systems and enhancements to existing ones. Leading analysis sessions and preparing communications and presentations on system enhancements or alternatives will also be key aspects of your role.

The right candidate may join and support a solution delivery scrum team with opportunities to contribute to feature and story development.

This position offers a hybrid work schedule and can be based out of our corporate offices in Bloomington, IL.

How does a Business Systems Analyst make

an impact?

Based on internal and external customer needs, describes, prioritizes, and communicates requirements, ensuring recommended change is aligned to product roadmaps. May manage and execute long term road maps to drive the overall vision and execution of products.

Actively manages product development and provides regular updates to all stakeholders. Frequently touches base with development teams and the business for sprint reviews.

Applies design thinking techniques (e.g., user stories, wireframing, prototyping) in order to define product features.

Uses team scrum/agile development techniques and tools for team collaboration, product testing, issue tracking and backlog management.

Assists in developing business cases for product enhancements, establishment of the Minimum Viable product, Minimum Marketable Features, and product improvements.

Identifies and highlights risks and issues, articulating the impact of these on the product delivery.

Responsible for clearly expressing the product backlog items, ordering the items to best achieve goals and optimize the value of the work the team performs.
