Litigation Paralegal

We are seeking an experienced, detail-oriented, and motivated Litigation Paralegal to join our team. This is an excellent opportunity for a paralegal with a passion for personal injury law to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment and assist in advocating for clients who have been injured due to the negligence of others.
The Litigation Paralegal will play a crucial role in supporting attorneys with managing personal injury cases, assisting with trial preparation, drafting documents, and ensuring the smooth progression of cases. The ideal candidate should be proactive, well-organized, and possess strong knowledge of personal injury litigation procedures.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist attorneys with case preparation for personal injury litigation, including gathering and organizing evidence, documents, and medical records.
- Draft and file legal documents such as complaints, motions, discovery requests, and settlement agreements.
- Manage and track case deadlines, ensuring compliance with all applicable legal procedures and court rules.
- Coordinate with clients, medical providers, and experts to obtain necessary documentation and evidence.
- Prepare and maintain discovery responses, medical records, and deposition summaries.
- Conduct legal research related to case law, statutes, and regulations affecting personal injury cases.
- Assist with trial preparation, including preparing exhibits, witness lists, and deposition summaries.
- Communicate with clients to keep them informed of case status and respond to inquiries.
- Handle client billing, filing, and administrative tasks as needed.
Qualifications:
- 2 years of experience as a Litigation Paralegal, with a focus on personal injury law.
- Strong knowledge of personal injury litigation procedures, including pre-litigation, discovery, and trial preparation.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple cases and meet deadlines.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to accurately document and track case information.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and legal case management software (e.g., Clio, MyCase, or similar).
- Ability to communicate effectively with clients, attorneys, medical professionals, and experts.
- Experience with filing in state and federal courts and handling electronic filings.
- A Paralegal Certificate from an accredited institution is preferred, but not required.
