Job Summary
The Business Transformation Program Manager will be instrumental in driving strategic, cross-functional projects that impact people, processes, and technology within the organization. Reporting to the Head of Customer Experience and Business Transformation, this role seeks an individual contributor who excels in process design, is a strategic implementer of Kaizen and Lean principles, and possesses a well-rounded understanding of business architecture. This role demands a proactive, hands-on approach to identifying, designing, and optimizing workflows and systems. The Program Manager will work closely with teams across the company to execute initiatives that enhance operational efficiency and enable sustainable transformation.
Key Responsibilities
Process Design and Improvement:
• Lead process mapping sessions to document current workflows and identify inefficiencies.
• Strategically utilize Lean and other continuous improvement methodologies to redesign and optimize processes.
• Manage end-to-end process transformation projects that are scalable and adaptable to increased volumes or new business requirements.
Project Management and Execution:
• Lead and execute high-impact projects aligned with business transformation goals.
• Develop comprehensive project plans, setting timelines, milestones, and KPIs to measure progress.
• Mitigate project risks by proactively identifying obstacles, managing dependencies, and applying solutions to keep projects on track.
• Establish and maintain performance benchmarks, measure progress, and implement corrective actions to meet or exceed industry standards.
• Lead and facilitate root cause analysis sessions (e.g., using 5 Whys, Fishbone Diagrams) to address recurring issues and drive permanent solutions.
Data Analysis and Performance Monitoring:
• Analyze operational data to identify trends, process inefficiencies, and improvement opportunities.
• Track and report key performance indicators (KPIs) to assess project impact and inform decision-making.
• Create visual dashboards and scorecards to present progress, insights, and recommendations to senior leadership.
• Set up structured feedback mechanisms to continuously refine processes and capture lessons learned from completed projects.
Stakeholder Engagement and Change Management:
• Establish strong partnerships with stakeholders in operations, IT, finance, sales and other departments to ensure alignment and buy-in.
• Lead change management efforts, coordinating with stakeholders to support the adoption of new processes and tools.
• Communicate project goals, progress, and outcomes to relevant teams, securing support and facilitating collaboration.
Automation and Digital Transformation:
• Collaborate with BT and IT to identify and implement automation opportunities (e.g., RPA, AI/ML) to enhance efficiency and accuracy in key processes.
• Encourage an innovation mindset, testing new tools or techniques in pilots before broader rollouts.
Standardization and Knowledge Management:
• Develop and maintain standard operating procedures (SOPs), ensuring consistency across processes.
• Document best practices, lessons learned, and process maps to build a knowledge repository for business transformation efforts.
• Provide training and resources to team members and stakeholders to drive transformation initiatives effectively.
Requirements
• 5+ years of experience in hands-on business transformation, process improvement, or related roles.
• Demonstrated expertise in process mapping, business architecture, and change management.
• Black Belt in Lean Six Sigma or equivalent is highly preferred, with experience leading Kaizen events.
• Proven track record of driving process improvement projects impacting people, process, and technology.
• Proficiency in data analysis and process optimization tools, with an ability to translate data insights into actionable plans.
• Exceptional organizational skills and a detail-oriented mindset, capable of managing multiple projects in a dynamic environment.
• Excellent communication skills, with an aptitude for working cross-functionally and influencing at all levels of the organization.
• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
• Advanced certifications such as Lean Six Sigma Black Belt, PMP, Prosci Change Management, and Design Thinking are highly desirable.
• Experience with process mapping tools (e.g., BPM software like Visio, Lucidchart, or ARIS) and automation technologies.
Compensation and Benefits
• Salary: $117,900-$155,200
• Performance Bonus: Eligible for a quarterly bonus of up to 10%, bringing the total compensation range to $129,690-$170,720
