CNC Lathe Operator

Essential Duties: * Effectively uses shop packages to include, but not limited to manufacturing orders, bill of materials, routings, part prints, job layouts, and quality alerts * Ensures that gases and tools that are used are within calibration dates * Sets up and operates multiple machines simultaneously as required by the routing * Sorts and reworks non-conforming parts as required * Produces product to established quality standards and notifies direct supervisor if non-conforming product is found * Participates in SQCD Board meetings as scheduled * Performs quality checks per WEOP0855 and associated Inspection Record (QF08120) * Requests raw material in a timely manner as needed for production and maintain accuracy of all inventory procedures * Performs and documents preventative maintenance according to released methods 100% of the time * Other duties as assigned Qualifications: * Ability to safely and properly operate and set up various production machines. * Basic computer knowledge * Ability to do simple math calculations * Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, memos and blue prints. * Ability to write simple correspondence and fill in required quality forms. * Ability to read and properly use measuring devices, such as micrometers, calipers, go/no-go gages, and other inspection devices as needed. * High School Education or equivalent * Minimum 2 years' experience PI1cb065305b61-29400-29973341
