Tenstorrent is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Developer Experience Engineer to join our dynamic team. As a Developer Experience Engineer, you will play a crucial role in enhancing developer workflows, streamlining processes, and ensuring seamless integration and usability of our tools and platforms, enabling our teams to deliver frequent incremental updates and outstanding solutions to our developers.

This role ishybrid, based out of Austin, TX.

Responsibilities:

Testing and Code Quality:

Build and maintain reliable testing frameworks and automation tools for early issue detection. Ensure component tests are well-supported, with robust infrastructure and consistent quality checks. Open Source Management:

Oversee integration and compatibility of upstream open-source changes. Contribute to upstream projects and manage processes to minimize technical debt Automated CI/CD Pipelines:

Design and optimize CI/CD workflows for seamless integration, testing, and deployment. Streamline processes to enhance reliability and developer efficiency Data-Driven Insights:

Create dashboards and automated reporting tools to track metrics like developer productivity, code quality, and testing results. Use insights to optimize workflows and codebase robustness GitHub Workflow Automation:

Automate task management, issue tracking, and pull request workflows. Enable reminders and updates to reduce manual overhead. Operational Excellence & Onboarding:

Support scalable infrastructure, create onboarding materials, and improve tools to enhance developer productivity and efficiency. Release and QA Management:

Coordinate release cycles, automate QA workflows, and ensure robust validation processes for product rollouts. Dependency Management:

Automate tracking and updates for dependencies, including Metal repos, to ensure compatibility and reduce risks. Experience & Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field; advanced degree preferred. 5+ years of experience in release engineering, software development, or related roles. Strong understanding of release processes, including CI/CD pipelines, versioning strategies, and release branching models. Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively across cross-functional teams and interact with customers. Proven track record of driving continuous improvement and delivering results in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
