We are recruiting for an Elasticsearch Administrator for an exciting, growing mission! The qualified candidate will maintain, evolve, and optimize our Elasticsearch capabilities, to include both current and future deployments. Responsibilities
Support large, enterprise footprint deployments of Elasticsearch in a fast-paced, mission environment
Provide full troubleshooting support to Elasticsearch deployments as needed, to include the system and software levels Configure, maintain, and optimize Elasticsearch environments Support the architecture, design, and deployment of new Elasticsearch clusters or capabilities as needed Optimize Elasticsearch capabilities and work with other team members to ensure the highest possible level of data/search parity Create, review, and maintain information technology documentation, particularly related to Elasticsearch capabilities and requirements Required Qualifications
Active TS/SCI clearance with polygraph required #qinetiqclearedjob Strong Linux administration experience, including configuring and maintaining Linux servers Strong scripting experience Demonstrated experience with automated management and deployment systems, ideally Ansible Experience with Elasticsearch in a large and complex environment Preferred Qualifications
Experience with the design, implementation, and management of large Elasticsearch clusters Experience interfacing Hadoop with Elasticsearch Experience interfacing RDBMS implementations with Elasticsearch Experience supporting multiple simultaneous development implementations with Elasticsearch Experience performing Elasticsearch diagnostics and performance tuning
