We are seeking a Cyber Security Engineer who will design, test, stage and deploy cyber security-related systems and services to various virtual, container, and cloud environments. Responsibilities
Maintain and consults for relevant operating systems on organizational computer systems, all thirdparty software components, and subsystems
Maintain and update documentation on the configuration of supported systems, perform cloud computing platform research and analysis to support engineering and integration requirements for cyber security related systems and services Conduct research and development of custom configuration to meet the specific needs of the mission Design integrations between systems supporting cyber security Identify and fill gaps in cyber security posture, technologies and response capabilities Plan, test, install, and integrate new and upgraded versions of the relevant cyber security systems and services on organizational computer systems, all third-party software components, and subsystems Research and resolve systems problems efficiently and accurately while adhering to internal software management standards and procedures Test and integrate software and services via the DevOps lifecycle Maintain technical expertise on relevant industry standards and in multi-cloud computing and virtualization technologies Required Qualifications
Active TS/SCI clearance with polygraph required #qinetiqclearedjob Experience working with Linux operating systems Familiarity with cloud services such as AWS or MS Azure Preferred Qualifications
Experience with endpoint detection and response (EDR) is desired
