The
Senior Graphic Designer
leads and executes design initiatives that improve internal efficiencies and strengthen the competitive position of our Business Line. This role will initially support
marketing and pursuit activities within Field Services (60%)
and the
Strategic Communications team (40%)
to produce visual content for both Field Services and Transportation Business Lines.
Areas of Responsibility:
Lead and execute design tasks that drive compelling and visually appealing proposals that elevate marketing efforts Develop and maintain a new library of visual assets, templates, and design resources to ensure efficiency and consistency in deliverables Partner with Field Services Marketing and Strategic Communications to align visual strategies with key objectives, enhancing brand awareness and engagement across Garver's markets. Workload Management:
Prioritize tasks across three levels:
Level 1 includes capture support through the design of proposals and selling materials Level 2 focuses on asset management and support for strategic tactics Level 3 involves directives that support the Strategic Communications team.
Adapt to shifting priorities while ensuring key deadlines are met and recognize when to seek additional support. Collaboration & Communication:
Collaborate with marketing coordinators, technical experts, and supervisors to bring creative ideas to life, ensuring alignment on project goals and deadlines. Possess strong interpersonal and communication skills required for presenting concepts, receiving feedback, and adapting to various viewpoints. Growth & Development:
Support opportunities that define and refine design processes and assets, support mentorship in design best practices, and contribute to strategic tactics that advance Field Services' marketing strategies. Skills & Qualifications:
Expert in Adobe Creative Suite and Microsoft Office. 4+ years of related experience, preferably within the AEC Industry. Ability to produce a variety or deliverables including creative concepts, InDesign templates, vector illustrations, and more. Interest in developing processes, maintaining assets, sharing knowledge. Experience with toolkit development, layout design with extensive requirements, audience-understanding, brand consistency. Ability to work as a team and independently. Coding, photography, motion graphics, videography, and writing skills a plus. Ability to use a PC operating system if necessary A portfolio for review.
