Position Title: Business Development Director

Location: 100% Remote- Washington

Salary: DOE

Working Rhythm: Innovation is a 24-hour gig, but we value your downtime. Officially, your rhythm is set to the beat of 09:00 - 17:00, Monday to Friday. Unofficially? We know great ideas don't always stick to a schedule!

Contract Type: Full-time Contract

Reporting To: Chief Marketing Officer

Travel: Up to 10% regional/international travel required.

Start Date: As Soon as Possible

Role Impact

The Business Development Director at Nexford University will be the driving force behind expanding our global sales engine including leading efforts across B2B, and B2B2C. This is a growth opportunity for a mid-level manager to build and grow a team. This role requires a startup-friendly dynamic leader capable of scaling sales operations, creating impactful partnerships,

and delivering substantial growth in primarily in the US. As the face of Nexford's sales function, the Business Development Director will not only boost revenue but also elevate our reputation through innovative strategies and close collaboration with cross-functional teams to hit ambitious targets. What You'll Be Owning :

Develop and execute comprehensive sales strategies across B2B, and B2B2C channels to meet and exceed ambitious revenue and enrollment targets. Act as the face of Nexford, leading webinars and presentations with employer partners and driving employee applications through innovative collaboration. Build and manage high-performing global sales teams, ensuring alignment with company objectives and fostering professional growth within the team. Play a key role in closing high-value, complex B2B deals to diversify revenue sources and strengthen Nexford's position in the market. Drive growth and improve sales funnel performance using data-driven insights and tailored sales strategies for each market. Skills and Qualifications :

Bachelor's degree in business, sales, marketing, or a related field. 5+ years of experience in hands-on end-to-end sales, with a proven track record, ideally within the EdTech/Education industry. Demonstrated success in managing and scaling remote global sales teams Strong financial acumen with the ability to develop and manage sales budgets, forecasts, and pipelines. Excellent negotiation and relationship-building skills, with experience in closing a wide range of deals from small to large size Proficiency in CRM systems (such as HubSpot) and data-driven decision-making to optimize sales performance.
