Sales Account Manager
to join our team and help build our brand in the marketplace. The team is hybrid 3x per week out of Newport Beach.
Job Description
Manage and develop relationships with key retail accounts to drive sales and ensure successful partnerships. Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve revenue targets and expand product distribution across multiple channels. Monitor and analyze sales performance, providing regular reports and actionable insights to optimize sales efforts. Collaborate with internal teams (marketing, operations, and logistics) to execute promotional campaigns, product launches, and other sales initiatives. Assist in negotiating pricing, terms, and contracts with retailers to ensure competitive positioning and profitability. Prepare and present sales presentations, business proposals, and other customer-facing materials. Monitor market trends, consumer behavior, and competitor activity to identify new business opportunities and areas for growth. Support the onboarding of new accounts, ensuring smooth transitions and effective product delivery. Maintain accurate records of sales activity, customer interactions, and performance metrics. The Successful Applicant
Minimum of
2 years of experience
in sales or account management within the Consumer Packaged Goods (CPG) industry. Proven track record of success in managing retail accounts and achieving sales targets. Strong understanding of the better-for-you food and beverage market. Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills. Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word) and Google Workspace. Ability to work onsite 3 days per week in Newport Beach, CA. Previous experience working with retail buyers, distributors, and key account managers. A passion for health-conscious, sustainable food and beverage products. Ability to thrive in a startup environment, demonstrating adaptability and entrepreneurial spirit. Experience with sales analytics, CRM tools, and data-driven decision-making. Not for New York City Applicants.
