Job Duties:
Responsible for application software design, development, systems maintenance, modification, and documentation. Utilize structured analysis and design methodologies to perform full life cycle development for USP applications ranging in complexity. Work on customer facing USP applications like USP Store. Perform design, development, testing, code review and post-production support for customer facing USP applications, like USP Store, based upon the specific needs of USP. Enforce the use of sound standards and best practices during all phases of software development life cycle. Collaborate with the team to provide technical solutions to support long-term technology strategies. Maintain current on technology trends and identify ways to innovate USP's software applications' social and mobile capabilities. Create prototypes, refine solutions, and establish proof of concepts. Diagnose and repair development, production, and code promotion procedures to solve technical challenges/priorities. Provide production support, enhancements and ongoing maintenance for custom programs that interface with third party vendors and other internal systems. Provide technical design, development, and implementation of enhancement support to e-commerce (B2B) platform and integrations. Design and develop storefront, mapping, catalogs, and widgets for OCC. Perform data integration from external system into product catalog load, pricing, and spreadsheet loads of finished products. Conduct technical analysis for the requirements and provide detailed technical documentation of the desired system change. Review and develop application customization, extension, and modifications of existing system to maintain inter-dependency of the functionality. Track, troubleshoot and repair OCC issues to support and improve the process of deviling solutions to OCC users. Coordinate work efforts with USP's data base application team for changes and system performance issues. Perform OCC functionality testing for deployment of upgrades to keep application release level current. May telecommute.
Requirements:
Employer will accept a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field and 60 months of experience in the job offered or in a Software Engineer-related occupation. Employer will accept a 3 or 4 year Bachelor's degree.
Position requires 60 months of experience in the following: ATG or Endeca and Oracle Commerce Cloud experience in development system, system configuration, testing and documentation of Commerce solutions for both web and mobile); Java and UI development including Java/ J2EE, Java Script framework (Knockout, react or Angular), Bootstrap, jQuery, node.js, HTML/ CSS, AJAX, HTML5, and CSS3; System-to-system integrations and interfacing with Oracle EBS and Integration Platforms (BOOMI, MuleSoft, or Oracle ICS); SOAP/REST/XML/JSON, jQuery, HTML, or CSS; Oracle database 12c or higher with SQL or PL/SQL; and Performing stored procedures, triggers, functions, DDL (Data definition Language), DML (Data Manipulation Language), and writing complex SQL queries on Oracle/MySQL relational databases.
