About the Role

We are seeking a seasoned Principal Data Scientist specializing in marketing and credit risk analytics to join our Data Science team at Finfare. In this high-impact role, you will own and optimize our end-to-end data analytics ecosystem to drive proactive insights and strategic recommendations across various functions, including Product, Risk Management, Marketing, Finance, and Operations. You'll play a critical role in achieving Finfare's key objectives, such as growth, engagement, and revenue maximization, by designing data-driven predictive models and analytics solutions that align with our overarching company goals.

Responsibilities Data Strategy and Insights: Develop a deep understanding of Finfare's data landscape to identify opportunities for analytics-driven improvements. Deliver actionable recommendations to stakeholders across multiple teams to support company-wide objectives. Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner closely with Product, Marketing, Finance, Risk, and Operations to define and track metrics that directly impact Finfare's KPIs related to user growth, engagement, and revenue. Advanced Modeling and Analytics: Leverage advanced statistical and machine learning techniques to build prediction models for credit underwriting, performance marketing, customer lifetime value, and offer recommendation systems. Optimize these models to ensure their relevance and accuracy in driving business outcomes. Business Impact Analysis: building P&L forecasting models to analyze and communicate how key initiatives influence Finfare's top-line and bottom-line metrics, providing data-backed recommendations that support company growth. Strategic Planning and Leadership Influence: Act as a thought leader by presenting data-driven insights and recommendations to senior leadership, influencing strategic decisions to maximize growth and engagement. Continuous Improvement: Continuously monitor and refine analytics processes to improve data accuracy, scalability, and accessibility across the organization. Additional Duties: Perform other duties as assigned. Qualifications and Requirements

Experience: 8+ years of experience in data science, analytics, with a successful track record of driving top-line and bottom-line impact, preferably within the financial services industry Technical Skills: Proficient in advanced data analysis tools and programming languages such as SQL, Python, or SAS, and experienced in developing and implementing machine learning models (minimum 5+ years experience). Business Acumen: Demonstrated ability to translate complex data insights into strategic recommendations, especially in areas like performance marketing, ROI, LTV, forecasting, and recommendation systems. Cross-Functional Influence: Proven experience collaborating effectively across Product, Marketing, Risk, Finance, and Operations, with the ability to influence senior leadership. Problem Solving: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a proactive approach to identifying opportunities for data-driven improvements. Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to clearly articulate technical concepts to non-technical audiences. Bonus Points:

The salary range for this position is $150K-$200K (Depending on experience and level assessed post interviews)
