Cision is looking for a Senior People Partner Lead to join our dynamic and evolving People team!
What you'll do
- Build strong relationships with managers and staff to deliver comprehensive HR processes and guidance globally.
- Lead initiatives to identify key drivers of engagement and reduce attrition.
- Stay up-to-date with HR legislation relevant to your geographic remit, and develop strategies to ensure compliance with company policies.
- Foster a strong network with employees at all levels of the organization.
- Support career development by identifying opportunities for growth and creating succession plans.
- Drive global People Team priorities such as onboarding, professional development, leadership coaching, performance reviews, and engagement surveys.
- Manage organizational changes, including employee promotions and approval requests.
- Develop and implement high-impact people strategies to enhance business effectiveness across functions.
- Promote a culture of accountability and performance.
- Act as a change agent, supporting transformation initiatives.
- Collaborate and communicate effectively with global People teams to align on strategies and objectives.
What you have
- 5+ Years of Progressive HR Experience: Ideally within technical, PR, or communication-focused organizations.
- Must be based in Chicago and available to attend the office regularly.
- Proven Partnership Skills: You excel at building strong partnerships and providing strategic HR advice across all levels and departments.
- Strategic Contributor: You have experience influencing organizational strategy and contributing to key business decisions.
- In-Depth Knowledge of Labor Laws: Expertise in local labor and employment laws, with global exposure being a plus.

- Commercial Acumen & Analytical Skills: You possess strong business insight and analytical skills to develop and implement effective HR solutions.
