Travel Nurse RN - ICU - Intensive Care Unit - $1,966 per week

Certification Details BLS ACLS NIHSS PALS Job Details ICU RN position at St Alexius Health Dickinson Medical Center Common diagnoses/Types of patients: DKA, sepsis pts, respiratory failure, cardiac(rate and rhythm control), medical detox, art lines, CVP Nurse:Patient Ratios: 1:2-3 depending on acuity RNs required to titrate drips: Yes RN required to read and interpret telemetry strips Job Requirements Certifications Required: BLS, ACLS, NIHSS, PALS & TNCC / TCAR / or experience with the care of trauma patients FIT TESTING / FACIAL HAIR- clinicians with facial hair must pass a fit test Schedule Information Shifts: 7-7 Director makes schedule Requires working weekends and holidays where there is need Floating Requirements: MS or ER (for 1:1) RTO needed upfront (7 or less days per 13 week contract). Additional RTO will not be approved. Unit Specific Information of Beds: 4 How many shifts of unit/department specific orientation?: 3- 12 hour shifts Additional Details Attributes that make a nurse successful in this unit include coachability, motivation, ability to understand and coach unsafe situations, and teamwork Radius Rule: 50 miles AND candidates may not be full time, part time, or PRN with any facility associated with CommonSpirit.
