Position Summary

We're looking for a Midmarket Account Executive to join our growing team! If hired, you will be joining a leading company in the nonprofit CRM SaaS space recognized by Inc 5000 and as an Inc Best Workplace. Virtuous as a product is a responsive fundraising platform helping nonprofits raise more money and do more good. In this role you will use inbound and outbound sales techniques to sell complex cloud-based software to mid-sized and large nonprofits.

Members of this team report directly to the Mid-Market Manager and work closely with the Marketing and Partner teams to help maximize our growth. Your responsibilities will include owning your own book of business and running full sales cycles including building a list of potential Virtuous customers, assisting in inbound marketing efforts, discovery calls, demonstrations, pricing proposals, implementation calls, etc.

Preference will be given to candidates who reside within commuting distance of our office locations in Phoenix, AZ or Plano, TX. Our offices follow a hybrid work arrangement, allowing employees to work from the comfort of their homes two days a week. For the right candidates, remote work will be considered.

Responsibilities

Find prospects and quickly establish credibility and relationships with nonprofits Build a pipeline of new sales opportunities using self-generated prospecting techniques along with developing warm leads Learn about the nonprofit fundraising space and quickly become an expert on the common software needs and pain points of nonprofit organizations Report to the Manager of Midmarket who will help you price projects, create proposals, and close deals Perform online demonstrations of the software and services Help build the overall culture and brand value of Virtuous by collaborating with our internal team and continuously looking for innovative ways to grow the company You Must Have

Strong experience in sales and specifically B2B SaaS sales A proven track record of at least 5+ years as a top performer in managing the full sales lifecycle of complex sales Knowledge of the nonprofit industry a plus Amazing communicator with the ability to make complex topics easy to understand A knowledge of technology, and the ability to do your own software demos Great personal time and task management skills The ability to thrive in a fast-paced start-up environment Experience working with CRMs, email marketing, and other cloud software Relentless and competitive Someone who is a constant learner and focuses on personal and professional growth A passion for helping nonprofits and a desire to truly understand what makes a nonprofit tick Participate in AFP (Association of Fundraising Professionals) events, fundraising activities, and networking opportunities. A love of finding and solving new challenges A willingness to constantly experiment, change, and grow Ability to take your work seriously without taking yourself too seriously You will be responsible for managing a portfolio of clients, developing account plans, overseeing the entire sales process, and collaborating with cross-functional teams.
