Position Overview:
We are seeking a Director of Performance Marketing to join our in-house Platform Marketing team. In this role, you will own the end to end pipeline of ad management. Everything from coming up with the concepts for ads, working with our in house creative team to build the ads, finding the right audience, managing the campaigns, and data driven decision making about campaign performance. You will be the "point person" who works cross functionally with creative, compliance, and product to launch marketing initiatives. You will be hands on with launching and managing campaigns across Meta and Google.
Responsibilities:
P/L ownership for one or multiple channel(s), owning between $250k - $1mm per month in media spend Creative concepting: Sourcing financial articles, building briefs, working with freelancers to build radically different creative concepts. Campaign performance: Bid setting, audience optimization (within platforms and using third party DMPs) and data-driven decision making Setting up pixels using GTM and CAPI Working with our product team to personalize and optimize a long, nuanced funnel to conversion Requirements and Skill Sets:
5+ years experience in performance marketing campaign management, owning more than $250k per month in media spend Hands-on experience managing ads in Google Ads platform, and/or Meta Highly analytical, with the ability to analyze complex down-funnel data in spreadsheets, Mixpanel, Google Analytics, and custom dashboards Experience running experiments (A/B creative tests, conversion lift tests, etc.) and analyzing data Solid understanding of performance marketing and all performance marketing metrics (CPM, CVR, CPA, CPC & LTV) SQL or other data analysis skills are a plus Strong organizational skills, project management and excellent communication ability You are a self-starter and proactive in making the display channel grow and meet targets Knowledge of finance and investing is a plus Measurements of Success in First 90 Days: Demonstrate P/L ownership of 1+ marketing channels Find optimization improvements (bidding, creative, audience, or otherwise) within your channel and create a roadmap to scale
