Product & Brand Management Specialist

We are seeking a dynamic Product and Brand Management Specialist to manage and support the development and execution of integrated initiatives for new products and product-related opportunities within a specific category. This role requires progressive experience in product or brand management, strong financial acumen in retail or packaged goods, and the ability to create and contribute to comprehensive marketing and product plans. The ideal candidate will lead and facilitate cross-functional teams, develop product concepts from ideation to implementation, and ensure alignment across stakeholders.This role is part-time; 20 hours weekly.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage the development and implementation of product and marketing plans.
- Lead or assist in creating product concepts, driving them from conception through execution.
- Facilitate cross-functional collaboration across teams and organizational groups.
- Conduct project meetings and present findings to stakeholders.
- Interview stakeholders and regional managers to gather inputs and synthesize findings.
- Develop actionable recommendations based on data and analysis.
- Perform content reviews, documentation, and process mapping.
- Engage in hands-on work for research and process/tool design improvements.
- Participate in daily syncs for content review or independent focus work.
- Varying tasks depending on project needs, including meetings and project updates.
- Present insights and findings during project discussions.
- Conduct interviews with stakeholders to gather diverse perspectives.
- Document and analyze interview findings to create actionable recommendations.
Qualifications:
- 3-5 years of relevant experience in product or brand management, marketing, or related fields.
- No specific degree required, though a Human-Centered Design (HCD) certification is preferred.
- Demonstrated experience working with international business partners and cross-cultural teams.
- Expertise in product innovation and marketing campaign planning.
- Strong background in general category product management and brand asset development.
- Experience interviewing stakeholders, documenting inputs, and analyzing themes.
- Proficiency in process mapping and utilizing HCD methodologies.
- Ability to focus on research and process/tool design to optimize existing products.
- Cross-cultural experience and understanding of international markets, including Asia, China, Latin America, and Europe.
- Excellent communication skills, including written, verbal, and presentation abilities.
- Prior experience with Human-Centered Design (HCD) approaches.
Technical Skills and Tools:
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, with advanced skills in Excel (data analysis and documentation) and PowerPoint (presentation creation).
- Familiarity with MS Smartsheet and Miro (preferred).
The target hiring compensation range for this role is $49 to $54 hourly. Compensation is based on several factors including, but not limited to education, relevant work experience, relevant certifications, and location.
