Overview
Carle Health is seeking an additional BC/BE Sleep Medicine physician to join the Carle Neuroscience Institute (CNI) in Urbana, Illinois.
Opportunity Details
- Candidates must be Neurology-trained
- Practice will consist of 80% Sleep Medicine and 20% Neurology initially
- Our Comprehensive Sleep Disorders Center is staffed by 2 BC Sleep Medicine Neurologists and 10 Sleep Medicine-trained advanced practice providers
- Our sleep labs and clinics are a regional referral center with locations at Carle Foundation Hospital and three other regional sites
- Our Sleep Disorders Center is supported by Psychology for Behavioral Sleep Therapy and an associated DME
- Monthly sleep conference with CME credit
- Carle Foundation Hospital is a Magnet® Designated 489-bed Level I Trauma Center with Level III Perinatal Services and is a DNV-accredited comprehensive stroke center.
- Our ambulatory team includes other BC Neurologists, Neurology Advanced Practice Providers, residents in Neurology, and medical students from the Carle Illinois College of Medicine
- We are an integrated neurosciences service line with strong physician-centered management with support from established Hospitalist, Critical Care, Neuroradiology, Neurosurgical, Pain Medicine, and Neuro-Interventional teams
- Academic and/or research opportunities are available through the Carle Neuroscience Institute in Urbana, the University of Illinois Beckman Institute, and the Carle Illinois College of Medicine. Academic appointment through the Carle Illinois College of Medicine will be commensurate with academic experience and rank

- As a Certified Comprehensive Stroke Center from DNV Healthcare, CNI provides comprehensive services including Vascular Neurology, Neurosurgery, Neuroradiology, and Neuro-interventional services
