JOB DESCRIPTION SUMMARY

The Supervisor, Inside Sales is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of an inside sales team and ensures that the team is meeting or exceeding their goals. This individual will support sales activities for customers and Field Sales while promoting quality and excellent service. This role will be tasked with developing new sales strategies or initiatives, as well as overseeing the development of their team.

JOB DESCRIPTION DETAILS
  • Develops business plans to achieve team goals in alignment with department strategy.
  • Meets regularly with direct reports to discuss goals, strategies, and objectives; monitors overall performance and provides direction and objective coaching as needed.
  • Maintains relationships by encouraging and providing a timely, two-way flow of information between subordinates, management, and field sales regions.
  • Motivates direct reports to improve quality of work performed and provides training and development opportunities as needed.
  • Manages timecards in ADP.
  • Coordinates and assures completion of strategic priorities and monthly call plans which address call frequency, quality and effectiveness of sales calls, project pipeline tracking, geographic targets, and specific sales objectives.
  • Route qualified opportunities to the appropriate team member for further development and closure.
  • Develops and leads company-wide initiatives related to Inside Sales.
  • Develop new sales opportunities through lead follow-up and outbound cold calls and emails.
  • Performs other duties as required and/or assigned.
  • Understand customer needs and requirements.
  • Will be required to travel up to 20% of the time.


REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

  • Knowledge of MS Office and Salesforce
  • Highly advanced selling skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication
  • Excellent business, decision-making, and negotiation skills
  • Solid organization and time management skills
  • Excellent presentation and interpersonal skills
  • Demonstrated ability and flexibility to adapt to different situations
  • Ability to train, lead and motivate a high-functioning team

Education, Certification/License & Work Experience
  • Bachelor's Degree is strongly preferred
  • 1-3 years of managing people experience required, 3+ years strongly preferred
  • 4-6 years of progressive sales experience required


Equivalent combinations of education and experience may be considered.

Total Rewards Package:

Compensation
  • Base: $68,783 to $92,793 annually, based on specific compensable factors including, but not limited to education, work experience, and geographic market.
  • Bonus or Commission: This role will be eligible for participation in a discretionary annual bonus program, pursuant to which an employee may be awarded a percentage of their salary based on the company's performance and their own individual performance.
