About the Role:
We are seeking a
Senior Technical Advisor specializing in Artificial Intelligence (AI)
to join our dynamic team. In this critical role, you will collaborate closely with early-stage entrepreneurs and startups to provide expert guidance on the technical feasibility of AI-driven ideas, product development, and resourcing. You will help shape the direction of new ventures by providing actionable insights on AI technology, best practices, and scaling considerations, ensuring that innovative solutions are grounded in sound technical foundations.

Key Responsibilities:
Technical Feasibility & Risk Assessment:
Evaluate early-stage AI ideas and concepts to assess their technical feasibility, identifying potential challenges, risks, and opportunities. Provide clear, actionable feedback on how to optimize these ideas for success. Ideation & Concept Development:
Work with entrepreneurs to refine and evolve their AI concepts during the ideation phase. Provide guidance on selecting appropriate AI models, algorithms, and tools based on the specific needs of the product or service. AI Strategy & Roadmapping:
Collaborate with entrepreneurs to define the AI strategy and technology roadmap, ensuring alignment with business goals and customer needs. Advise on prioritizing AI features, scalability, and long-term vision. Resource Planning & Scaling:
Assist in evaluating the technical resource needs of early-stage AI ventures, including talent acquisition, toolsets, and cloud infrastructure. Help build a resourcing plan that supports both immediate needs and future growth. Mentorship & Training:
Offer technical mentorship to startup teams, helping them build strong AI foundations and educating them on best practices in AI development, model training, and deployment. Stakeholder Communication:
Serve as a technical liaison between entrepreneurs, investors, and other key stakeholders, translating complex AI concepts into understandable and actionable insights for non-technical audiences. Thought Leadership & Industry Engagement:
Stay at the forefront of AI trends, tools, and research. Contribute to thought leadership through blogs, talks, and workshops, helping to elevate the company's reputation in the AI space. Networking & Ecosystem Building:
Foster connections with the AI community, including academic institutions, research labs, and other startups. Help entrepreneurs tap into relevant resources and partnerships to accelerate their growth. Qualifications:
Experience: 10+ years of software engineering management. Proven experience (10+ years) in AI, data science, or machine learning. Experience leading or contributing to AI projects from ideation to deployment. Strong technical background with experience in AI frameworks, LLM deployments, programming languages (Python, TensorFlow, PyTorch, etc.), and cloud platforms (AWS, Google Cloud, etc.). Skills and Expertise: Deep understanding of AI technologies, including machine learning, natural language processing, LLMs, computer vision, reinforcement learning, and other emerging areas of AI. Strong knowledge of AI product development life cycles and technical challenges in scaling AI products. Ability to assess technical feasibility of ideas and communicate complex concepts clearly to non-technical stakeholders. Ability to educate non-technical audiences on the risks and limitations of AI technologies, as well as the ethical implications of such technologies. Experience with AI infrastructure and tools, including model deployment, monitoring, and optimization. Familiarity with the startup ecosystem, including fundraising, pitching, and early-stage growth. Interpersonal Skills: Excellent communication and mentoring skills, with the ability to work effectively with entrepreneurs, technical teams, and investors.
