License: IN or compact license required
Certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS, NRP
Must-Have: Cerner experience required
Job Description:
- Accepts first-time travelers - Holiday coverage required and work every other weekend - Floating may be required to surrounding facilities - Experience in Adult Critical Care, Emergency Department, Labor & Delivery, NICU, Pediatrics - Skills in airway management (endotracheal tube/suctioning, extubation, intubation assist, nasal airway placement, oral airway placement, tracheostomy/suctioning) - Experience with aerosol setup (mask, trach, nebulizer - heated, trach collar), vent management (BiPAP, CPAP, weaning from mechanical ventilation) - Proficient in O2 Therapy (high flow nasal cannula), and suction - Competence in neonatal/pediatrics care (assist in high-risk delivery, CPAP/Nasal CPAP/BiPAP, oscillating ventilator) - Ideal candidate has Labor and Delivery experience
This position requires flexibility to float between high-risk deliveries and NICU II, adult acute care, and the emergency room based on the facility's needs. Flu vaccine required with possible medical/religious exemptions. COVID-19 vaccine not required.
