About this role

As a Sales Development Manager at Tenon, you will play a pivotal role in leading and scaling our Sales Development Representative (SDR) team. Your mission will be to create a high-performing team that identifies, qualifies, and nurtures leads for our sales pipeline. You'll combine hands-on coaching with strategic planning to drive revenue growth and ensure the success of both the SDRs and the broader sales team. What You'll Do at Tenon

Lead and Inspire the SDR Team: Hire, train, and manage a team of SDRs, ensuring they have the tools and knowledge to excel. Pipeline Ownership: Oversee the SDR team's contribution to the pipeline, ensuring alignment with company targets and revenue goals. Set Goals and Metrics: Establish clear performance metrics, monitor progress, and hold the team accountable for meeting and exceeding targets. Strategic Collaboration: Partner closely with Marketing and Sales leadership to ensure a steady flow of qualified leads and seamless handoffs to Account Executives. Coaching and Development: Provide ongoing coaching, role-playing, and feedback to SDRs to improve their skills and effectiveness. Optimize Outreach Strategies: Develop and refine outreach sequences, messaging, and tools to improve lead engagement and conversion rates. Data-Driven Insights: Leverage CRM data and analytics to track performance, identify trends, and adjust strategies as needed. Continuous Improvement: Identify areas for operational efficiency and implement processes to scale SDR team success. What You'll Need to Succeed Experience: 3-5 years in sales or business development, with at least 2 years managing SDR teams. Experience in B2B SaaS or enterprise technology sales is strongly preferred. Leadership Skills: Proven ability to lead, motivate, and develop high-performing teams. Sales Expertise: Strong understanding of outbound and inbound prospecting strategies, pipeline generation, and qualification processes. Collaboration Skills: Experience working cross-functionally with marketing and sales teams to align strategies and achieve shared goals. Tech Proficiency: Expertise with CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce) and sales engagement platforms. Data-Driven Approach: Ability to analyze data to monitor performance, identify trends, and inform decision-making. Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to represent Tenon effectively to internal teams and external stakeholders.
